Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 November 2026
Flopline is a poker equity calculator and study tool for iOS, Android and Mac. Flopline is developed and published by Mikita Haurylovich (“we”), who is responsible for the data described here. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use it. In short: no accounts, no ads, no tracking — only anonymous usage statistics and crash reports, which you can turn off, and anonymous records of Flopline Pro purchases.
What we collect
Flopline has no accounts, no ads and no tracking. To fix crashes and learn which features are used, the app sends anonymous usage statistics and crash reports through Google Firebase (Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics), a service provided by Google:
- Usage statistics: which screens and features are used (for example "range editor opened" or "spot saved") and the kind of spot calculated (game, street, number of players, how many use ranges, folded players, number of dead cards, exact or simulated). Never your cards, ranges, notes or spot names.
- Flopline Pro: when the Pro screen opens and whether a purchase or restore went through. Never payment details.
- Crash reports: what the app was doing when it crashed (a technical stack trace), the app version, device model and operating system version.
- Technical data that Firebase collects with both: a random app-installation identifier, approximate country derived from your IP address (Analytics does not store the IP address itself), language and when the app was used.
We don't use advertising identifiers (IDFA, Android advertising ID), don't link this data to you or to other apps' data, and don't sell or share it for advertising. Google processes the data on our behalf under the Firebase terms (firebase.google.com/support/privacy). Usage statistics are kept for up to 14 months and crash reports for up to 90 days. For users in the EU and UK the legal basis is our legitimate interest in a stable, improving app (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); you can object at any time by turning the setting off.
You can turn this off at any time: Settings → Privacy → Share anonymous usage statistics. While it is off, nothing is sent.
Data stored on your device
To keep your work between sessions, the app stores on your device:
- the cards, ranges, notes and settings of the current spot;
- the spots and ranges you save, and recently cleared spots;
- whether you own Flopline Pro (so it also works offline);
- your preferences (theme, odds format, hand order, color names).
This data does not leave your device unless you share or export it, and it is deleted when you uninstall the app. Depending on your system settings, it may be included in your device backup (Google backup on Android, iCloud or computer backup on iOS); those backups are handled by Google or Apple under their own policies.
Sharing and export
When you use Share or Export library, the app hands the text or image to the system share sheet, and it goes only to the app or person you choose. On Android, a shared image is kept temporarily in the app's private cache. On iOS, if you choose "Save Image", the system asks your permission to add it to your photo library; the app never reads your photos.
Purchases
Flopline Pro is bought through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google handle the payment and your store account; we never receive your name, payment method or card details.
The purchases are recorded by RevenueCat, a service that manages in-app purchases for us. At launch and when you buy or restore Pro, the app sends RevenueCat a random customer identifier it creates (not linked to your name or store account), the store's record of your purchases (product, price and currency, date, store country and transaction identifiers) and technical data (app version, device model, operating system, language; RevenueCat sees your IP address when the app connects). RevenueCat checks the purchase with Apple or Google and tells the app whether you own Pro; the app keeps the answer on your device. RevenueCat processes this data on our behalf (revenuecat.com/privacy); we use it only to provide Pro and for our sales records, never for advertising. For users in the EU and UK the legal basis is providing what you bought (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our duty to keep sales records (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). To have these records deleted, write to us (see Contact).
Permissions
Flopline does not access your location, camera, microphone or contacts, and it does not read your photos. It uses the internet only to send the statistics and crash reports described above and to check purchases with RevenueCat and the App Store or Google Play.
Flopline for Mac
The Mac app, downloaded from flopline.com, sends nothing: no usage statistics and no crash reports. There is nothing to buy in it: on Mac every tool is free. Your spots, ranges and settings are kept in a file on your computer (~/Library/Application Support/Flopline) and are deleted with that folder. The app itself doesn't connect to the internet; links such as the support e-mail open in your mail app or browser.
Children
Flopline is a study tool for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published in the app and on its store pages with a new date.
Contact
For privacy questions, write to support@haurylovich.com (also in Settings → Help → Contact support). If you write to us, we receive your e-mail address, your message and the app version and system details that the app adds below it; we use them only to answer you and delete them when they are no longer needed for that.
Language
This policy is available in several languages. If a translation differs from the English version, the English version applies.
